I think this week’s batch of outfits is a bit of a letdown compared to last week’s… I tried very hard to be stylish last week, challenging myself to wear a new combo every day, and this week it was a feat to get dressed at all. I’ve never understood those fashion bloggers and influencers who look so cute all the time. I’ve watched their vlogs—even their lazy, throw-on-and-go ‘fits look trendy and effortless. As much as I love fashion and clothes, there are days where even I just don’t care what I put on. I was feeling that more often than not this week.
Monday, October 30
If I’m being completely honest, this outfit was still piled up on my closet floor from the day before… so I just put it back on this morning.
Tie-Dye Sweatshirt: American Eagle, $18 ($0.95 per wear) | Black Skinny Jeans: Express, $42 ($0.91 per wear), last worn here | Blush Sneakers: Steve Madden via DSW $60 ($0.44 per wear), last worn here

I didn’t put much effort into a cute Halloween outfit (obviously) aside from mixing black and purple. My boyfriend and I spent the evening at my aunt’s house helping pass out candy to the never-ending trail of children. It was SO packed, with lots of cute little kids in fun costumes, but also snotty teenagers who didn’t even bother dressing up. It was entertaining, to say the least.
Black Ribbed Sweater: 525 America via Scout and Molly’s Boutique, $89 ($5.24 per wear), last worn here | Purple Jeans: JCPenney, $35 ($2.33 per wear) | Black Booties: DSW, $45 ($0.60 per wear), last worn here
Wednesday, November 1
I was so tired and lazy this morning and did not want to get dressed, but I still think this outfit turned out kinda cute. Not trendy or cool by any means, but I like it nonetheless. The scarf belonged to my grandma so it was special wearing it in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos, kinda like bringing her with me today.
Beige Sweater: Gap, $30 ($1.36 per wear), last worn here | Jeans: Levi’s via JCPenney, $40 ($0.91 per wear), last worn here | Beige Booties: Shop LC, gifted by brand | Peacock Scarf: Hand-me-down
Thursday, November 2
I think I’ve worn this outfit before, and I still love the hot pink with the black and white. The color-blocked vibe is so chic.
Black Blouse: Dillard’s, $20 ($0.83 per wear), last worn here | Pink Blazer: JCPenney, $35 ($3.18 per wear), last worn here | Houndstooth Trousers: JCPenney, $19 ($0.83 per wear), last worn here | White Mules: Rebecca Minkoff via Saks Off Fifth, $70 ($1.56 per wear), last worn here
Friday, November 3
It was an uneventful work-from-home day (hence the ghastly neon tracksuit—I would be lying if I said it wasn’t extremely comfy, though) before my boyfriend and I spent the evening playing tennis. It was the perfect fall day for it!
Neon Velour Jacket: American Eagle, $25 ($8.33 per wear) | Neon Velour Sweatpants: American Eagle, $30 ($15 per wear)
Saturday, November 4
One of my best friends is writing a book!! So cool. I offered to be a beta reader and provide feedback, so I spent most of today working on that. In the evening, my boyfriend and I tried a new restaurant nearby that turned out to also be a country and line dancing bar—my favorite! How stinking cute are these printed bellbottom jeans?!
Maroon Mock-Neck Blouse: JCPenney, $11 ($0.28 per wear), last worn here | Printed Flared Jeans: Cavender’s, $70 ($35 per wear) | Cowgirl Boots: Ariat via Boot Barn, gift, last worn here

Sunday, November 5
I didn’t leave the house today (oof) and spent it either making closet clean-out Reels or reading my friend’s book.

Not many great choices this week, but which outfit is your favorite? Did you do anything fun to celebrate Halloween? Let me know in the comments below.
Miles of smiles,
Grace
I love that scarf so Wednesday is one of my favorite as well as your Saturday’s outfit! I have been reaching for very simple outfits on Saturdays since I tend to dress up the rest of the week.

Thanks Mireille! And same here, I’m generally much more casual on the weekends.
