I’ve had Taylor Swift on the mind all week! She performed both Friday and Saturday night at the Empower Field Stadium downtown. I tried very hard to win concert tickets through various sweepstakes, including calling into my local radio station 212 times (!!), but no luck. I would have loved to go! I didn’t try to buy tickets way back when because they were pretty expensive and the hassle of the whole Ticketmaster queue didn’t sound worth it to me. I did not anticipate being inundated by concert posts for months and feeling such FOMO. At least I can seek solace in the fact that even if I had tried to buy tickets, it’s possible I wouldn’t have been able to anyways.

It was a pretty quiet work-from-home day. My boyfriend and I decided to have a spontaneous date night in Boulder, getting tea at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse and then going to his favorite bar for dinner, Golden Tee, and darts. I’ve been to the teahouse once before, years ago on a road trip through Colorado, and I remembered it’s unique history—the teahouse has a sister location in Tajikistan and each handcrafted piece of the building was shipped all the way to Boulder for assembly! The interior and mosaics are incredible.
I decided to wear this cute navy romper because I thought I might take pics in the teahouse and didn’t want to clash with the colorful tiles. It’s an easy outfit for those hot summer days, but I dislike how the hem of the shorts are angled upwards instead of cut straight across—I don’t think it’s very flattering.

I got a workout in before work today because I went into the office late, knowing that I would have to stay much later than usual for a client interview. My coworkers and I took a break in the middle of the day to walk to the closest 7/11 for our free slurpees! (If you didn’t know, 7/11 usually offers free slurpees on July 11th to celebrate the company’s founding.)
I wore this cute beige linen dress that always reminds me of a potato sack. It’s cuter without a jacket in my opinion, but I needed the denim to keep warm in my chilly office.

I’m obsessed with today’s outfit!! It’s so simple yet put together, and even though you can’t tell in this pic, my heels are navy and white striped to go with the navy and white polka dot collar. It all matches so perfectly.

My number one priority today was comfort, so I picked out this striped swing cardigan and built an outfit around that. Not my favorite look ever but it served its purpose.

I took some Frida Kahlo-inspired blog photos this afternoon (post coming tomorrow!) and ended up wearing the whole fit to see the newest Mission Impossible movie with my boyfriend.

I spent the morning littering my apartment with clothing while making my Taylor Swift eras reel (I put together an outfit for every Taylor era, in case you missed it! I’m really proud of it, and so many of the pieces are secondhand). Afterwards, I spent the afternoon at a pool party for my friend’s birthday.
Several people told me I should check out the Saturday T-Swift concert to see if I could hear her singing from outside the stadium, so I decided to swing by on my way home (in my Red-inspired outfit). Sure enough, we could hear her pretty well, so it was fun to stand outside and listen to a few songs (as well as see lots of other would-be-concert-goers’ outfits!). I realize it’s ridiculous to listen to a concert from outside the venue, but after all the effort I put into winning tickets, I’m glad I did.

I spent entirely too long this morning finishing up my Taylor Swift reel (I had no idea stringing together the music would be such an ordeal) and then spent the rest of the afternoon reading poolside.

Which of this week’s outfits is your favorite? Have you/will you see Taylor Swift in concert and if so, what did you wear?? I’ve loved seeing everyone’s over-the-top outfits!
Miles of smiles,
Grace
I do love your Wednesday outfit! I will have to wear my navy top soon with white jeans (once it cools off though). Those heels are so pretty!
