I’m excited to share a new-to-me brand today, Clara Sunwoo, after they reached out to me for a partnership. Isn’t this matching set so cute?? It looks like a jumpsuit but is actually two pieces (more bang for your buck). The brand is promoting their current resort wear line, and I was sold on this look the second I saw it on the home page of their website. It’s so fun for spring and summer!
Clara Sunwoo is a mother-daughter design duo who started their clothing line in 1997. The brand is known for their signature stretchy, wrinkle-free fabric and custom prints, and I absolutely love that they are a mother-daughter team—I think it would be so much fun to design clothes with my mom. I keep asking her to do a blog post with me, but she doesn’t want to be on the internet… I can’t blame her.
Anyway, I so wish this matching set had arrived before my trip to Puerto Rico. How perfect would it have been for a beach-side dinner? Since I live in a landlocked state with no plans to see the ocean again anytime soon, I decided to style the one-shoulder top and gaucho pants with a denim jacket instead. I threw on some gold wedges for a little shine and my wicker purse from Shop LC for a cute spring/summer outfit.
It wasn’t quite spring weather yet when I took these photos—it was very windy, actually—so that’s why the pants look like they are laying funny in certain photos. I was trying to hurry in between gusts to snap my pics so that the pants would lay properly!
I love the large watercolor print of these pieces and think the colors are so pretty for the warmer months. The fabric is extremely soft and stretchy, too. My boyfriend said he likes the outfit but thinks it looks like pajamas, ha! They’re certainly comfy enough to sleep in—the lightweight fabric is the kind of thing you wouldn’t mind wearing on a hot, humid day while exploring a new city on vacation. It’s so cooling and wouldn’t stick to you at all (sticking clothes are the worst!).
Like any new brand, I wasn’t sure what sizes I should get and took extra care to read the size charts. I ended up ordering my regular size small in the top and opted for a small in the pants as well (sometimes I wear a medium in bottoms—that booty, you know). In hindsight, I think I could have sized down to an extra small in both pieces since the fabric is so loose and stretchy. The top could be a little more fitted around the arm holes, and while the pants aren’t meant to be high-waisted, I think they could sit a little higher on me with a size smaller. All that to say, if you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing down!
Maybe one of my favorite parts about this set is that I can wash it like I wash all my other clothes—gentle cycle and hang dry. I try to never buy clothes that require drycleaning because I hate the hassle (and cost), so anything that can be machine washed on the gentle cycle is my best friend!
While my eye immediately went to this particular matching set, Clara Sunwoo has a ton of really fun, vibrant prints, as well as lots of very stylish workwear options. I would love to try some of their trousers next, like this navy pair! I need more work-appropriate pants that aren’t jeans in my closet. They also have the most amazing (albeit expensive) leather jackets—this white one is swoon-worthy.
All in all, I’m very excited about my new outfit and can’t wait for all the possible outfit combos. I imagine wearing the full set dressed up for date night or more casually for a lazy, hot summer day, but I’m also just as excited to wear the pieces as separates. I think the one shoulder ruffle top would be super cute with light-wash high-waisted jeans for a casual date night or brunch with the girls, and I’m picturing this white button blouse with the gaucho pants for work. The possibilities are endless. Of course you can pair these pieces with white, but you can also style them with any of the colors from the print—a pink or blue top would be really pretty with the pants as well.
Have you heard of Clara Sunwoo before? What do you think of this matching set? I’m sure you’ll see a lot more of it as the weather continues to warm up. You can shop these pieces at the end of today’s post and use code GRACEG for 10% off sitewide.

Yes exactly!!
That is such a cute set! I bought the same jumpsuit at Mireille above but in a fun navy/tan print and I just love it. I can’t wait for our weather to warm up enough to wear it.
Oh so fun! I love that jumpsuit too, it looks super comfy.
The two piece factor makes it super versatile and functional. I just love how you added the denim jacket, and we need to get your mom to join you. She’s fabulous and we need the older women represented more!!
