The weekend went by way too fast! Saturday was extremely busy for me and then yesterday consisted of Super Bowl festivities all day, which was a really good time. But here we are, Monday again already… How did that happen? At least Valentine’s Day is tomorrow so we have something fun to look forward to. I really liked my outfits this week and am excited to share them!

I love this outfit and tried photographing it again after work today—still not sure I like the photos, though. The shoes are another new pair sent to me by UIN Footwear and they are SO fun! Lots of UIN’s shoes are travel or art themed, and these are their London-inspired slip-ons, which have a red double-decker bus and St. Paul’s Cathedral. I, of course, had to choose the London shoes since I spent spring break there last year.

I’ve been trying to wear jeans to work less often, so today I broke out my hand-me-down grey pinstripe trousers (they go with the blazer I wore for my Vivienne Westwood-inspired outfit). I absolutely love these pants because they fit perfectly, but I have a hard time figuring out what to style with them on top. Today I opted for a navy sparkly sweater, which looks fine, but I’m not sure I would wear this combo again.

How cute is this light pink tweed blazer!! I led staff meeting at work today so I wanted to wear something that would fit the role. I’m not sure I like it so much with the high-neck sweater underneath, but I still felt cute. My boyfriend came over in the evening for dinner and to watch episode 3 of “The Last of Us”, which wrecked me…

I like everything about this outfit except for the boots. Usually I would wear flats with these polka dot trousers because I think knee boots makes it look like I’m a polo player. But alas, it was supposed to be cold today, so I opted for the boots instead of flashing my ankles. Otherwise, I would have worn the white mules that I styled on Wednesday.

Sweater: Gap, $16 ($0.84 per wear), last worn here | Polka Dot Trousers: JCPenney, $19 ($1.12 per wear), last worn here | Black Knee Boots: Clarks via DSW, $100 ($0.78 per wear), last worn here

Friday, February 10

I thought today’s outfit was really cute—clearly I’ve been on a blazer kick this week. Once it warms up a little bit, I plan on wearing this outfit again with my red Rothy’s. After work, I had a quiet Friday night doing a few chores and binging “Breaking Bad”, which my boyfriend has been begging me to watch and I finally started a few weeks ago.

I had such a busy day of running around… Woke up early so I could make some Reels and shoot a few looks for the blog. Taking outfit photos in the winter is hard because a) everything is so ugly and dead and b) it’s already dark by the time I finish work. It was nice over the summer being able to photograph the outfits I wore to the office on my way home. But now, I can pretty much only take blog photos on the weekends because the sun has already started going down by the time I leave work.

Anywayyy… a busy morning, and then my boyfriend and I went grocery shopping for the Super Bowl, wandered through Ikea, and somehow ended up at Rodizio Grill, a Brazilian Steakhouse, with one of his friends. I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before and it was quite the experience, ha! If you’re unfamiliar, it’s all-you-can-eat style and people walk around with huge pieces of meat on skewers, slicing off pieces for you. It was fun and really tasty, but definitely not a regular occurrence.

Sunday, February 12

This comfy and casual outfit was perfect for Super Bowl Sunday! I slept in, did some chores, and then spent the afternoon hosting a party with my boyfriend. I made goat cheese stuffed mini peppers, artichoke dip, chili for the main course, and chocolate cupcakes—they were all a big hit. After the game ended we went hot tubbing, but I think the highlight of the day for me was throwing around the football. I haven’t thrown a football since I was probably 10 years old, but it was a blast.

Black Crop Top: American Eagle, $8 ($1.14 per wear) | Cardigan: JCPenney, $18 ($1.38 per wear), last worn here | Cropped Flared Jeans: Express, $40 ($0.95 per wear), last worn here |
Black Booties: Vivaia, gifted by brand, last worn here

. . . . .

Which of this week’s outfits is your favorite? And did you watch the Super Bowl or were you just there for the Rihanna concert? We were rooting for the Eagles more than the Chiefs… but at least it was an entertaining game either way.

Miles of smiles,

Grace

    1. Thanks Mireille! Snow tubing sounds like so much fun! I’ve only been once and it was so steep it was kind of scary.

  1. Every single outfit is so cool. I think I liked the combination of the striped pullover and the polka dot pants most.
