10 Outfits I’ll Be Rewearing This Spring

blue and brown dress, brown circle purse, brown belt, pink flowers

It snowed several inches here last night, so it seems only fitting that I’m sharing ten spring outfit ideas on the blog today… I’m getting to that point in the year where I’m growing bored of sweaters and jeans and want to start breaking out colorful blouses, flowy skirts, etc. I’ve definitely found myself daydreaming about spring these past few days! From the cute outfits, to the blooming plants, to spring break (!!!), I’m ready for the new season. How ’bout you??

I put together this white and marigold outfit over the summer after my mom handed down this white blouse to me. I love the earthy, warm tones of it, and the cropped straight-leg fit of these pants is already becoming super trendy in the new season.

This is one of my favorite outfits, and it will pair great with a jean jacket on those cooler spring days. The mock-neck trend is still going strong and I am here. for. it.

pink blazer, striped flamingo tee, jeans

How fun is this hot pink blazer? I don’t own much pink in my closet, but this blazer pairs so well with graphic tees and jeans for a stylish, streetstyle kinda vibe.

Purple outfit, lavender, Francesca's, freshman 15

I remember when I first came up with this outfit, and I did not expect to love it as much as I do. Lavender is such a pretty color for spring (pastels are always so popular during the season!), and it perfectly brightened up this black floral skirt.

For a preppy spring outfit idea, I love tying a white button-down over a skirt (or you could even layer it on top of a dress). I consider this skirt as more of a winter piece, but the white blouse and sandals perfectly transition it to spring. A denim skirt would be a great alternative in this look.

I’ve been craving so much yellow lately! Maybe because it’s one of the Pantone Colors of the Year? Anyway, I dressed down this silky yellow halter dress with a jean jacket and flats, but it would look just as cute for a fancy event (when the day finally comes that we can go to those again). I added some super cute yellow dresses to shop in the widget below!

I absolutely love this outfit and would wear it again in a heartbeat. I felt so cool and chic in it! Houndstooth trousers (the same from Monday’s post) and a pretty white blouse is the perfect combo for a work-appropriate spring outfit.

This denim jacket is my go-to in the springtime. It’s the perfect neutral layering piece for almost any spring outfit, and I usually like to add a brooch or two to the pockets for a lil’ extra flare. I also wear these navy polka dot shorts nonstop in the spring and summer months because they’re just too cute. A simple white tank, printed shorts, and a colorful purse is an easy outfit formula as the temps warm up!

Black and white never go out of style, and I know I’ll be wearing my white jeans (with the cutest button detail at the hems) much more come springtime. This outfit would look just as cute with a colorful bag or shoes!

Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking. I love the bright colors in this outfit and can’t wait to start styling all my spring blouses! I linked quite a few cute (and trendy) tops below, if you’re looking to add a few new pieces to your spring wardrobe this year.

For my college bloggers and content creators, here is this week’s linkup. Come share your most recent blog and social media posts! I can’t wait to check them all out.

Which of these spring outfits was your favorite?? Are you looking forward to spring, or are you still holding on to winter? Let me know in the comments! Also, I’d love to hear what kind of pieces and trends you’re shopping for this spring, if any. I have my eyes on lots of cute pieces… but I’m trying to spend less money and focus on the items I already own—hence today’s blog post. Hope you have a great rest of your day!

  3. I can see why you can’t wait to wear spring outfits – I love that bright pink jacket and the flamingo tee! I am less excited about my own wardrobe, I didn’t buy much last year so I’m afraid I will think it all a bit “meh” !

    1. That’s kind of how I feel, too! I haven’t refreshed my spring wardrobe in a while so it’s all the same pieces… but since I have a very limited wardrobe here at school, I still think I’ll have that fun of ‘rediscovering’ the rest of my closet back at home, even if it’s just the same as last year!
