Coming at you a little late this morning! I’ve had a very slow start to the day and am finally getting this week’s recap posted. It was another very busy few days of school, and I think I speak for all my friends when I say we’re hitting that ‘Week 6 fatigue’. Since my school is on a quarter system instead of a semester system, classes move SO quickly, and Week 6 is usually the point where people just get tired of school altogether. I know I’m ready for spring break… definitely dreaming of warmer weather! But until then, here are this week’s wintry outfits.

I spent the day completing a lot of miscellaneous tasks and did another surprise workout with my friend in the afternoon. It was my turn to plan the workout, so I put together a bunch of resistance band exercises for our arms. It ended up being pretty tough! But also, I have no arm strength whatsoever, so there’s that.

I didn’t have my 8am class today, so instead I slept in a little before starting homework—the usual stuff. My boyfriend and I made red curry with beef for dinner—which was SO good—and then watched “The Crown” on Netflix. I also declared a Psychology minor today! I only need three more classes to get the minor, and since I have room in my schedule, I figured I might as well. In other news, I’ve never paired this top, vest, and jeans together before, but I thought this outfit was really cute and different.

I spent much of today working for my research assistant position and then doing homework. In the afternoon, I recruited my boyfriend to help me take some blog photos on a cute nearby street! As a little treat, we got boba/bubble tea afterwards (I really have no idea which drink is which, but it’s so fun to eat because of those strange little balls at the bottom). When I got back to the apartment, I was surprised to notice our freezer was leaking… yay! So my roommate and I spent the night trying to deal with that.

I didn’t have my 8am, again, but I did have to meet one-on-one with the professor for ten minutes or so, followed by an appointment with my academic advisor (registration for spring quarter is already next week!). Once I finished my classes for the day, a maintenance guy came to fix the freezer which, of course, was working perfectly fine now. Figures. After dinner, I invited some of my girlfriends to a trivia event on campus and we ended up chatting for an hour after the event finished! I don’t see my friends very often now because of Covid, so it was nice for us to catch up.

I was in a bit of a ~mood~ today so I spent most of the morning laying in bed, being extremely unproductive. I threw on this casual look, but I think these grey jeans and blush top would look just as cute dressed up with a snakeskin belt, booties, and a cool jacket. I went on a walk with my friend in the afternoon, as it was so warm outside, and joined a Zoom call for the College Blogger Babes community at 6pm. This was my first time meeting and chatting with other bloggers my age, and I have to say, it was SO nice to talk to other girls who get how hard it is to balance school, blogging, and a job. Such a fun time! Oh, and then I took my take-home Remote Sensing midterm at 9pm—wild Friday night, am I right?

. . . . .

Which of this week’s outfits is your favorite? Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I have a lot of work and schoolwork to do, but I’m not feeling particularly motivated at the moment… so we’ll see how things go. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Miles of smiles,
Grace

    1. Thanks Chrissy! I wear my white mules ALL the time… white shoes are worth the investment, in my opinion!
