My Favorite Pearl Accessories

I’m teaming up with the Magnificent 8 again today to showcase how we wear pearls! I have to admit, this blog post was not the one I had planned, especially since I love the theme of pearls so much… But sometimes life gets in the way (or a lot of times? I’m looking at you, 2020), so I decided to share some of my favorite pearl accessories from over the years instead. So many of these pieces would make great Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers for the special ladies in your life! And be sure to scroll to the end of this post to see how the other bloggers of the Magnificent 8 collab styled their pearls.

Pearl Hair Accessories

Nothing spices up your hairstyle, especially in the winter months, like some pretty pearls. I recently got these pearl bun twists, pictured in the first photo of today’s post, and I absolutely love them! They are the cutest accessory for any bun, and they’re extremely functional, too (I love bun twists). The big pearl clip in the left-hand photo above was a special gift from my aunt to celebrate my senior prom – dress pictured on the right. You can shop all sorts of cute pearl hair accessories in the widget below, and here’s a very similar accessory to what I wore for prom.

Pearl Belts

Next up are pearl belts. I love how chic they are, and they look just as good with a preppy sweater and collared shirt as they do with a leather jacket for a night out. I got mine on major sale for $5 from Francesca’s back when quarantine started, but I linked a few below. You can also find some super similar ones here and here.

Pearl Hats

I think pearl-embellished beanies are the cutest things ever. Or earmuffs with a pearl headband?? Even better. It snowed a few inches here over the weekend, so I’m definitely gearing up for winter clothing and accessories. Like I said, any of the beanies below would make a great Christmas gift.

Gatsby-Inspired Bracelet + Ring

Back during my sophomore year of high school, I dressed as a flapper girl for a school dress up day. My mom surprised me with this very pretty pearl bracelet and ring piece, which is inspired by the flapper style of the 20s (it’s hard to tell from these pics, but it’s a bracelet with a ring attached). While the piece was the perfect accessory for my Audrey Hepburn Halloween costume and my latest rendition of a flapper girl, the bracelet looks just as cute for a night out or a fancy brunch (as seen in the outfit with the red scarf). You can shop my exact bracelet here and browse some similar pieces below.

Pearl Necklaces

Of course, you can’t go wrong with a classic pearl necklace. My mom got me a singular pearl necklace as a “quarantine gift” after spending a few months at home, and it’s the perfect go-with-anything everyday necklace (I’m wearing it in the photos with the green dress). Another pearl favorite of mine, which I only recently rediscovered, is the floating pearl necklace seen above. Can you believe I got it for only $5 at a Christmas bazaar?? You can shop some really cool and unique pearl necklaces in the widget below, and I especially love that faux collar piece—so bold and dramatic!

Other Pearl Pieces

Don’t you just love all the various pearls in this flapper outfit? Seriously one of my favorite photoshoots ever. But I digress. In case you’re not pearled-out yet, here are a few more fun pearly pieces below! I recently saw Emily from Emily Belloma do a DIY pearl jean jacket, and I’m dying to try it as a project over winter break.

  1. Wearing pearls in your hair would be just perfect for such an amazing event as a wedding. I love simple pearl earrings and always have a pair or two on hand for whenever we are heading out. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. Thank you Aiva! Yes, pearl earrings are definitely a staple, although I don’t have my ears pierced. I think pearly accessories would be beautiful for a wedding, too!

    1. Ooh yes, hopefully you find some goodies!! Do let me know if you do. My mom found a really gorgeous, vintage-inspired pearl necklace at a thrift shop once for only $12.

  2. What a fun post! you have so many beautiful pearl pieces – I really like the embellished beanie, it’s the cutest, but it’s impossible to pick a favourite as you have so many nice pieces! I like how you put this post together – there are so many options with pearls!

Hope that you are having a good week! It’s a pretty stormy one here but the rain is very welcome 🙂
