Hey y’all! It’s always hard coming back to school/work after a holiday break, but we finally made it to Friday. 🙂 My prom is this weekend, and I can’t wait to get all gussied up and dance the night away! I’ll be sharing pictures of my dress soon.
As you may have noticed, March was a pretty sporadic month for the blog. I only posted twice a week (instead of 3 times) for several weeks in a row. This wasn’t intentional; I just couldn’t get around to curating a post for those days. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) April and May will be extremely busy months for me as I finish off high school and plan to attend college in the fall. My goal is to do better at posting three times a week this month, but this is your heads up that it might not happen. If I miss a post here or there, you can assume I was up late finishing applications, playing tennis, practicing guitar, or that actual pesky thing called homework. I appreciate your patience with me and your readership. 🙂 Thank you for enjoying my blog!
As for today’s outfit, this was a top contender for an Easter look. I didn’t realize that my closet lacks a lot of color (though it has plenty of black!) and I wasn’t sure if this black skirt was too dark for a happy spring holiday like Easter. But regardless of holiday dressing, I love how this outfit turned out. The pink belt added the perfect detail to match the floral blouse, and the black lace detail on the back of the shirt could not have looked better paired with the black skirt. I topped it off with silver heels and a sparkly necklace, and I added a pop of orange in this fun beaded bag! I just really love the color scheme of this look. 🙂
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Again, thank you for stopping by today and understanding my possible (but hopefully minimal) absences. See you on Monday!
