I finally made it to spring break, and I’m beyond excited to just kick back and relax, worry-free. Although, I haven’t started relaxing just yet—you’ll never guess what time it is right now as I type this post! It’s 1:44 AM…What’s wrong with me?! Anyway, today I wanted to share a classy Easter outfit. I always love Easter because it’s an excuse to dress up a little extra fancy. 😉

When I first came up with this outfit in my head, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. I correlate Easter with bright springy dresses and baby chicks. After browsing my closet though, I realized I don’t really own any brightly colored dresses. I decided to pull this pinstripe dress off the hanger and see what I could make of it.

I think what makes me love this outfit so much is the mismatched accessories. I used to be so concerned with having everything match—the belt, shoes, purse, and jewelry would all need to be the same colors. Lately, I’ve been trying to grow out of that by experimenting more with my accessories, which I talked a little bit about in this post. My cardigan is green, my belt is pink with gold hardware, my shoes are silver, and my necklace has none of those colors. Yet for some reason, all of the accessories come together to make a super interesting and colorful outfit, perfect for Easter brunch or mass.

Something kind of funny—I wore this exact dress, cardigan, and belt to my eighth grade May Crowning ceremony. I don’t know how I still have these clothes—or how they still fit! Thank goodness for that fit-and-flare style dress. 😉
