Hey y’all! How’s your Wednesday going? Over the weekend, the weather was absolutely gorgeous—a tad chilly but very sunny, and it felt like spring. But yesterday?! Back to rain! I guess you can’t get more spring-like than that…Even though we still have a ways ‘til the end of winter, I wanted to share my favorite rainy day clothing item for the upcoming season—these Ralph Lauren rain booties.
I have been wanting a pair of those narrow-shaped black rain booties that everyone seemed to be wearing last spring, and for Christmas that wish was answered! Plus, it came in the form of a sassy leopard print. 😉
I’ve worn these Ralph Lauren leopard rain booties almost every day for the past two weeks. The neutral color palette goes with a ton (I’ve especially liked pairing it with beige and forest green), and the shoes are super comfy. I’m wearing a size 7, my usual size, and they fit well with a thick pair of socks.
I love when an item is both super functional and stylish, and these boots definitely deliver. The only thing I recommend is that you wear tall(ish) socks with them. If not, the plastic can rub on your ankles a bit.
Other than that, these booties are great and I highly recommend them! While tall printed rain boots are fun, I think this trendier short version is the way to go. They’re easier to pack/store, and they can be worn with so much (whereas, tall colorful rain boots may not go with a ton). And even though they’re short, the booties are just tall enough to prevent your legs from getting wet while splashing through a puddle. 🙂
What’s your go-to rainy day piece? Does it rain a lot where you live? Thanks for stopping by today!
Miles of smiles,
Grace
