Staying Warm with Love Your Melon

You know I love talking about fashion with a cause or raising awareness through fashion, so today I wanted to introduce you to an awesome brand, Love Your Melon. I only just learned about Love Your Melon this Christmas when my mom bought me this super cute teal ear-warmer, as well as a beanie for herself and each of my brothers.

According to Love Your Melon’s website, it is “an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting nonprofit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer.” This mission lies very close to my heart, and I love supporting something really important. And, Love Your Melon donates 50% of their profit! You can read more about their mission here.

In addition to cozy beanies and ear-warmers, they also sell headbands, billed caps, and even a few t-shirts. I love a cute beanie (especially when my hair is dirty 😉 and they have such a fun variety of colors and styles to choose from. Ear-warmers are great also because you can get away with wearing them to school, since hats aren’t generally allowed.

My exact headband is currently sold out (along with a lot of their items due to the demand of the holiday season) but I’m sure everything will be restocked soon.  You can even sign up to receive an email when items become available again. Until then, you can shop this cozy ear-warmer in other fun colors.

**UPDATE: The mint chip headband is now back in stock, but if you’re interested, buy it quickly before it sells out again!**

I also want to mention the quality of Love Your Melon’s products. This hat and headband are SO well made and seriously keep your head insanely warm. I’ve owned a few similar ear-warmers in the past, but this is one of the warmest by far. I do have to mention though, I have a pretty big head when it comes to hats and headbands. Love Your Melon’s headbands are one-size-fits-all, and the first time wearing it, it was a struggle for me to get it on. After a few tries though, I got it down. 😉

If you live in a cold weather climate and are in need of a little extra warmth, Love Your Melon is a great place to start. Every time I wear my headband or my family wears their hats, we get to remember how we’re supporting a great mission. 🙂 Have a happy Wednesday!
