Hey, Pumpkin

Good morning girlies! I hope you had a fabulous Halloween last night—those trick-or-treater kids are so dang cute. Today I’m just sharing some photos I took at a pumpkin patch in Puyallup, Washington, on Saturday and randomly talking about a bunch of crap that pops into my mind. Sound good to you? Okay. 😉

Don’t you just love when unplanned things turn out great? My dad and I were on vacation in Tacoma (you can read my Tacoma travel guide for ideas) and wanted to buy some pumpkins. That’s about all we knew. So we looked up pumpkin patches, stumbled upon this adorable one that was super conveniently located near our hotel, and found the best selection of pumpkins ever. Honestly, each pumpkin in the patch looked amazing. We ended up doing a corn maze, launching baby pumpkins in a sling shot (photo below), and taking some blog photos. It was such a fun time!!

This outfit was meant to be worn with the black pants from Monday’s post, but if you saw my Instagram post on Friday night, the universe had other plans for these pants. I was going down my favorite childhood slide, picked up a little too much speed, and ended up flying off the end of the slide. I skipped like a rock across the gravel, and it probably would’ve really hurt if it weren’t so funny. When I stood up, my entire back side was covered in mud, and my dad and I spent a solid five minutes laughing hysterically. Long story short, I had to wear these jeans instead.

This outfit also initially started with my blush quilted flats, which still haven’t appeared on the blog (even though I wear them a lot and absolutely love them). I decided to swap them out for these soccer sneakers instead because I was less concerned with getting mud on these shoes, which can easily be washed. I forgot to change back into the blush ones for pictures though!

And finally, two little girls walked up to me and in the sweetest voices asked me if I wanted a flower. Of course, I said yes! And put it in my hair. They were so adorable.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Do you guys have any fun fall stories? Did you carve a pumpkin this year, and if so, what was your design? Have a great Wednesday!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
