My Favorite New Perfume

Happy Friday!! I’m so glad it’s finally the end of the week. I’ve been sick for the last few days and it’ll be super nice to just sleep in and relax a bit. For today’s post I thought I’d discuss something I’ve NEVER talked about on the blog before—perfume!

I used to not really use perfume and just spritzed those cheap body sprays from Bath and Body works instead. However, I recently got a $20 bottle of perfume (which is obviously still really inexpensive) from my favorite store…Francesca’s. It even comes in a glass bottle so you know it’s fancy. 😉 I really love the smell of it though and I even get little wiffs of it after a long day—those other body sprays would hardly last ten minutes! I don’t really know how to describe smells but I guess it’s…girly? And kind of floral. It has sparkling plum, orange flower, and warm amber. Oh, and it’s called The Traveler! And no, I did not purposely dress like a plane stewardess to match the name…that was just a coinkidink. 🙂

While we’re talking about perfume, I also really love the scent Alien. Somebody handed me a free sample at the mall many months ago. I only just started to use it a few weeks ago, and it’s AMAZING! I might have to get a real bottle because now my sample is gone. This smell is definitely more…*seductive* than The Traveler. You can bet I made a weird face when I wrote that. 😉 It’s just more of a moody, darker scent, I guess.

I took these photos last night right as a storm was rolling in…so the lighting turned out really weird! I wore the outfit to mass and school. How pretty is this scarf?? I bought it at a craft fair a few weekends ago and I’ve been really into it. I think I’ll style it in my hair next.
