Some would argue it is football season, others would argue it is Homecoming season. I think you know which side I’m on. 😉 Actually just kidding, I don’t usually get a Homecoming dress until the night before, if I get one at all…But I realize other girls actually do plan ahead. So in light of that, I thought I would round up a few unique and affordable dresses for the special event.
Nobody wants to be caught wearing the same dress as someone else, so one way to prevent that is picking a dress a little more on the casual side (you can always dress it up with fancy accessories). I love the lace on this one and it reminds me of a Self Portrait dress. You can also pick a less common color, like this burnt orange! I know a lot of girls aren’t a fan of orange but…I love it. 🙂 You can shop this dress here for $60 (sorry the pic is blurry).
If you’re looking for a true party dress, this sparkly little number is perfect. Gotta love the silver. It’s $50 right here.
Okay, so this dress doesn’t look the most flattering in this pic…But sometimes the things that look the worst on the website end up being the cutest. I mainly like this dress because the vibrant color—you’ll definitely be noticed! Buy it here for $42.
This dress comes in the prettiest jewel tones—I think I decided this emerald green is my favorite. I love the ruffle and tight fit, and it just seems so unique. You can buy it for $45 here. I might have to make the plunge?!
This lacey black dress and the previous green dress are tied for my favorites. This one also looks like a Self Portrait dress that I really like but is way out of my budget. I love the unique shape and details so much! I just feel like I already have enough black dresses…But then again, can you ever have too many black dresses? Questions, questions… Buy it here for only $20!!
There you have it! Which dress is your favorite? Are you attending a formal dance soon? I’d love to know in the comments!
