Are you sick of patriotic outfits yet?! ‘Cause honestly I kind of am, haha. But Friday’s look will be the last one, and I think it turned out super cute. 😉 Be sure to stay tuned!

Interpret this strange photo as you will, but I promise I was just sniffing the flowers. 😉

Where to Wear: Today’s outfit is designed for the 4th of July parade and barbeque. It’s comfy, it’s great for walking around, and it’s the perfect amount of subtle 4th of July touches without being too “in your face”. I also think this look is one of the most wearable and easy to recreate, but you’ll have to read on to see why…

Shop Your Closet: A white tee and jean shorts—can you get any more basic than that?! This is such an easy outfit to recreate and the perfect comfy look for the holiday. I can’t say everyone has these two pieces in her closet, but I’m guessing a large majority do. If you don’t, though, search your drawers for plain skinny jeans, white jeans/shorts, khaki shorts, white tank tops, chambray tops, or a blue/red tee to recreate this look. As for the accessories, ribbon is the perfect add-on to add some color if you don’t have any red, white, or blue jewelry. Tie it around a ponytail, a wrist, a neck (as a choker, not something else…that probably sounded a little creepy), or even as a belt.

Funny thing, before I took these photos the other day I threw my hair into a messy side bun. It turned out super cute, so I decided to try to keep it for the photos. Unfortunately, it was very loose and fell out before I could snap some pics. But then of course I couldn’t recreate the hair-do, no matter how many times I tried! Ugh, so frustrating. Don’t you hate when you make the perfect messy bun to wash your face at night but you can’t even make an ugly poop bun when you’re getting ready in the morning?? Why hair, why?

I hope you all are having a great Wednesday and are thinking of camels because Hump Day, duh. See you on Friday with my final 4th of July outfit!
