Hey, what’s shakin’ bacon? Well darn, now I want some bacon…Anyways, today I’m getting a little more serious in this blog post, despite the goofy intro. Read on, if you dare…Mwa haha ha ha…

Okay, so recently I’ve been feeling a bit of writer’s block. Have you noticed? My guess is yes because my content lately has been blah. Part of it is that I feel super overwhelmed—I waited the whole school year for summer so that I could implement a bunch of new blogging strategies and try new things. But now that it’s finally summer (*hollah* by the way)? There’s just so much I want to accomplish and explore that I have no idea where to start.

So what does this mean for you, my lovely readers? Not much—I just ask you to stick with me these next few weeks. There’s probably going to be a lot of changes, but they will (hopefully) all be good. I want to create the best content for you, and that’s why I’m working to make everything better. If there are any specific posts you’d like or anything that I’ve done in the past that you really enjoyed, please leave me a comment below so I can keep doing that awesome thing you love!

So now to the outfit. I wore it to school. Shocker. You know what I realized? I kind have no life…The only reason I ever get dressed is to go to school, haha. That’s all I ever do. Then, I always try to come up with an alternative for where you could wear the outfit because I know you are some super cool chick who has more exciting places to be than school. But all I can ever think to say is, “You could wear this outfit to work, out to dinner, or to see a movie.” I seriously hope that you do more than go to dinner and see movies. Alternative places to wear a look is just one of the things I want to work on!

So because I’ve made this realization, I’ve also made a promise to myself to get out more this summer. I want to pick outfits to wear to some fancy/exciting/unique event all the time, not just picking outfits to do the same boring thing each day…But don’t worry, I won’t sacrifice my realistic fashion to do these fun activities. After all, practical fashion is what this blog is all about! (And if you don’t already know that, then I just shed a little tear. But I know, this is something else I must work on. If you don’t get my blog and what it’s all about, then I’m failing at my job!)

This ended up being a pretty long post…But I’m glad I wrote it. Now you know why things have been “eh” around here lately! Also, thanks for reading all of this. You’re a real pal. 😉

Miles of smiles,

Grace

P.S. I watched Silence of the Lambs for the first time yesterday, and now I’m a little freaked out…Such a good movie though!

    1. Oh this is awkward, just realized you didn’t actually follow my blog (insert laughing so hard I’m crying emoji). Disregard that part of the last comment…;) and have a great night!

  1. I have still never seen Silence of the Lambs and I’m not sure I want to!! This is such a cute look I love the jacket and booties!
