Good morning ladies! Thank goodness it’s finally Friday…This has been the longest week for me. Next week I have finals and then I’m done with school for the year, so it’s been really hard to stay focused when summer is this close. I can’t wait!

I was really happy with today’s outfit—it’s super comfy, looks cute, is easy to recreate, etc. I wore it to school and mass the other day, but it makes such a great work look. Both the top and trousers are from Liz Claiborne at JCPenney. She makes some super stylish work pieces and they’re all really affordable (especially if you wait for a sale, which are happening all the time).

Check out my shoes! I had this random idea to put some clip-on earrings onto my t-straps to jazz them up a bit. I think it turned out well, what do you think? I’m definitely going to experiment more with clip-on earrings in the future…

I used to not really like the color red, but now I love to wear it (especially this top). It’s so bold and lady-like. Although, I don’t think I’ve worn much of the color on the blog…I guess my pants in this post and my dress here, but they’re a darker red, not the vibrant shade I’m wearing today.

And of course here’s a really funny picture. It was super windy and my hair kept blowing into my lip gloss…Anyways, thanks for stopping by today! Have a fantastic weekend. 🙂

Miles of smiles,

Grace

  1. Great alternative use for clip on earrings, it’s something that used to happen a lot back in the early 20th century, that’s got a little forgotten in recent times. It’s hard to imagine a time when even the wealthy would only own a couple of pairs of shoes, it was the done thing to embellish a pair of shoes with a clip on buckle of some kind. I’ve only found it done once by a contemporary designer and I managed to lose one and so remade it here http://wp.me/p6RWBV-J8 using a clip on earring. Suddenly a plain pair of shoes have near infinite possibilities.
