Good morning ladies! I hope you all had a nice weekend and Mother’s Day. Today I’m sharing a few tips for how you can make your work pants more appropriate for everyday life. I wore this look to school last week, and it was a very cute yet comfy outfit. Now let’s get started!

Add denim. I feel like denim always makes my list of style tips! Adding a chambray top like me or a denim jacket is a great way to make your work pants more wearable for every day since the fabric is usually associated with weekends and casual looks.

Use a clutch. Rather than rocking your usual boss babe handbag or briefcase, try using a clutch instead. This simple step really separates your work life and shows you’re ready to have a little fun. 😉

Wear flats. Of course, if you’re a woman who wears heels to work every day, switching them out for flats or sandals is the perfect way to make your work pants weekend appropriate. I do love a great pair of flats. 🙂

Let your hair down. This step doesn’t apply to everyone, but if you’re the type of work woman who wears your hair in a bun or up in the office, let it down for this look. Hair is an important but easily forgettable step for making your outfits more versatile.

Untuck your shirt. I did not use this tip in today’s outfit, but a great way to loosen up the feel of your work pants is to untuck or half-tuck your shirt, rather than the usual preppy work look of a full tuck.

That’s it! Now you have some ways to rock your work pants even outside of the office. I hope you enjoyed these tips and found them helpful.

Oh, I have a funny story about these pants really quickly. When I wore them last week, I walked into one of my classes and my teacher said in the most enthusiastic, genuine (possibly?) voice, “WOW! Those pants are fantastic!” It was sooo funny how excited he was…Haha anyways, have a great Monday.

Miles of smiles,

Grace
