Hey gals! Sorry for such a late post. I’ve been having some Internet issues so Wednesday’s post might be a little late as well (if it goes up at all :/ ). Anyways, thanks for stopping by today! I’m sharing one simple trick you can use to pattern mix, especially if you are timid of this it-girl trend. Keep reading to find out what it is!

The one tip is to play with textures! I think a common misconception is that you have to mix patterns with only loud, colorful prints, which can be intimidating for some people. There is so much more to pattern mixing though. For my outfit, I wore my green leopard top with a striped crochet skirt. The outfit looks put-together without being crazy, but it’s still super interesting. So just think texture like the tights worn in this post or the design on the skirt from this post.

I wore this look to school on St. Patty’s Day and felt super festive all day long. 🙂 Isn’t this statue of Mr. Lincoln pretty cool?

Hope you all had a nice day! What do you think of this tip? Leave a comment below to let me know. 🙂

Miles of smiles,
