Happy Monday! I’m sad that it’s Monday again…Where did the weekend go?!
I really love the way this outfit turned out. It’s so cute in person with the sparkly sweater and perfectly matching navy socks. I wore this to school after a few days of “sweatshirt and jeans” outfits, so I wanted to look extra cute. The navy with this skirt seemed like a no-brainer. I’m sure I’ve said this before, but whenever you have a print, try to pick the rest of your outfit based on colors in that print. Like I did, with the blue. This skirt also would have looked great with hot pink!
I’ve never noticed this before, but doesn’t the pattern on the skirt look like a kaleidoscope? I used to love those when I was little; they’re so fun and pretty. And how gorgeous is that ring?? It was a Christmas gift from my uncle, and so was my necklace.
Another tip: if you have a skirt on the shorter side, try wearing it with over-the-knee socks. It always seems to make the skirt more appropriate and a lot less short since more leg is covered.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great start to your week.
Miles of smiles,
Grace
