Woo-hoo, it’s Friday! I’m so ready for the weekend, what about you?

I wore this outfit on New Year’s Eve to do this thing called Escape with my friend. It’s just like those Escape games where you look for clues in a room and try to get out, except it was a real room. We were on a team and had an hour to solve a series of puzzles and escape the room. It was so fun! I totally recommend it, and things like this have been popping up all over. I wasn’t sure what to wear, so I wore something casual and comfy, which was a good choice.

I liked this outfit. It’s not anything special, but it worked. My dad didn’t like it though. He said the penguin hat “didn’t match”. I guess I can kind of see what he’s saying (I feel like animal/character pieces need a very specific outfit to “work”), but what do you guys think? Would you wear this? I’d love to know!

If you take the hat out of the equation, the outfit works since it sticks to a single, dark color scheme. Black and grey always work well together, and I added the green pants for a bit of color and to mix it up from the usual jeans.

This is how I felt. The sweater looks warm, but it’s not. The sleeves are really loosely knit so you can feel every bit of cold air passing through.

Have a great weekend!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
