Pine

Happy Wednesday! I think I may have already mentioned this in a past post, but I have been digging the color green lately! It’s my favorite color, but I don’t wear it that often. My t-shirt is also a dark pine green, but it looks black in these pictures. I wore this look during finals week at school—comfy, yet still warm!

A good way to incorporate a pop of color that you don’t normally wear is to do it through the accessories. Start with a neutral base, in this case, jeans and black and white (even though the sweater is neutral, it’s still interesting because of the pattern). Then add color through hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, belts, or even jewelry.

This is also a good idea for trying out a new pattern or color that you’re not sure you’ll like. That way you don’t spend too much money on something you don’t love. I did this with my leopard flats, seen here. I bought them for really cheap from Target because I wasn’t sure if I’d like the print. Turns out, I like it a lot!

These are the shoes (below) I wanted to wear, before it snowed a ton!

And here’s a funny pic. My brother threw a snowball at me while taking a picture, so now it looks like I’m eating it.

Hope your week is going well. Halfway there!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
