Going Goth

Happy Friday! Can you believe that Halloween was on Monday? It feels like it was weeks ago…As promised, today I am sharing my costume. I’m not a specific character or anything, just a goth/punk/whatever-you-want-to-call-me. It’s so fun being someone totally different for a day. I had a really hard time not smiling in these pictures. 🙂

Like my flapper girl costume from this post, I had all of the clothing items for this costume already. I actually had everything already because I had the wig and jewelry from a different costume. I found some fake tattoos in my drawer from years ago, and the nose ring is just a toe ring with one of those gaps so that you can adjust the size. The chain in my pocket is the removable cross-body part of this purse.

I had such a fun time with this costume. Most people didn’t recognize me and some actually thought I cut my hair…I guess my costume was just that good. 😉
