Modest Dressing

Happy Monday and happy Halloween! Obviously, this is not my costume, but to be completely honest, I still don’t know what I’m going to dress up as…I will post about whatever costume I decide on later though.

A few weeks ago my school made us wear very strict outfits one day so that we would look “modest” and “business appropriate”. Girls had to wear either maxi dresses or maxi skirts with a collared shirt, both having to cover our shoulders. A maxi skirt with a collared shirt, you may ask? Is there any combination of that that actually looks cute? I didn’t really think so, but I took it as a challenge. The pics where I’m wearing the sweater is what I came up with for my outfit. It did feel a little too covered and modest, but it was a lot better than what I had envisioned in my mind. Even though I would wear this outfit without the sweater, I probably wouldn’t have worn the entire outfit if my school hadn’t made me. Regardless, it still turned out kind of cute. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween! BOO!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
