Neon Threads

We made it to the long weekend! Does anyone have any fun plans for Labor Day? I’m not sure what I’m doing yet. Maybe I’ll just catch up on some much needed sleep. I kind of feel like Mike Tyson in some of these pictures because the light shines on my face in a way that looks like his tattoo. I don’t know, maybe I’m the only one who noticed this.

I wore this outfit the other day to school. I didn’t know what I was going to wear these shoes with when I bought them, but I’ve already worn them with so much! They add the perfect touch of sparkle to any outfit, and they look especially good when combined with a statement necklace.

I was happy to see that the color of this shirt photographed pretty well. A lot of times with neon things the color gets distorted, and the piece seems a much duller color than it really is. That was not the case with this shirt. I would consider it neon, but it’s a very light, washed out neon yellow/green so it’s not super in your face. That’s what I like about it.

If you look closely at the shirt, there are little threads of neon yellow and neon pink. I decided to downplay these in this outfit, but sometimes I choose to highlight them. I think they add such a unique detail to the shirt though.
