Hi guys! I’ve done a bit of shopping recently, so today I decided to do a roundup of all the things I’ve purchased in the last few weeks. Here they are:
1 and 2 // These are actually the same pair of shorts just in different colors. I love the lengths of these because they’re not too short but they’re also short enough to be summery and cute. I got them from JCPenney a few weeks ago and have already worn each pair a lot. I also really like the white and oregano colors. I got mine for $16 each, but they are on sale for $10 today only! You can buy both here.
3 and 4 // These are also both the same pants and are again from JCPenney. I’ve actually never owned a pair of skinny jeans before (how is this possible you ask? I don’t know either). So I’m pretty excited to finally have a pair. I have sooo many outfits already planned. I also got a new pair of black skinny pants because my old ones were getting worn. You can buy these a.n.a. jeggings in true indigo or in black here.
5 // I got these mustard yellow pants a few weeks ago as well. I paid $20 for them on sale; they’re still on sale, but the price went up a bit to $25. I plan on wearing these pants into fall with brown booties and cozy scarves. I also think they’ll look cute with the crochet tank from this post. The pants look really cropped in the photo, but on me they are at the perfect height to go with ankle booties. Some might say that colored jeans are a trend of the past. Well I still like them, so I’m going to keep wearing them. 🙂
The next few pictures are terrible quality and I feel a bit embarrassed about them. But I couldn’t find the following items online and still wanted to share them on the blog. Plus, I waited too long to take the photos and then before I knew it I had lost the natural light. I guess that’s what I get for procrastinating…
I just bought this tee a week ago at JCPenney because I didn’t have a plain white tee in my closet! (I just realized…does anyone like the band Plain White T’s? I do!) Like the skinny jeans, a white tee is a closet staple, and I’m excited to style it. You can buy the same tee in other colors here for $9, which is what I paid, but I couldn’t find the white online.
I found these little gems in the clearance section of my mall’s Francesca’s store. Each skirt was only $10! This was such a steal. Usually Francesca’s clothing is $40 a piece at least, so to walk out of there with two skirts for $20 was so exciting.
I have been looking for a black skirt forever and this pretty crochet one is perfect. The navy skirt has a cool texture and lots of volume. I plan on wearing it with the white tee for a more casual look and with a navy button down blouse for a monochromatic look.
You can shop Francesca’s website here–they’ve been having lots of sales recently so it’s definitely worth checking out. However, I’ve found that Francesca’s always have a way bigger selection of merchandise in the actual stores than online, so be sure to check out a store near you and see if you can find any screaming deals too!
I also stopped by Charming Charlie a few weeks back and found this grey crossbody purse that doubles as a clutch. It is almost identical to the yellow one I wear all the time on the blog, but the grey will go with a ton more, especially as we enter fall. You can buy it in other colors here (I love the blush one!) but I couldn’t find the grey one online.
Phew! That was a long post. Let me know what your favorite item is in the comments below and have a great Wednesday!
Miles of smiles,
