Splurge Vs. Steal

Splurge Versus Steal 1

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today’s post is a little different. Since there has been so much talk about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale lately, I decided to round up a few popular items from Nordstrom and also find some more affordable dupes. Without further ado, here they are!

1 and 2 // Although these two bags aren’t that similar in shape, they do have similar styles, especially with the black and leopard. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers lately rocking this Vince Camuto bag, and it’s a great piece to have for the fall. It’s on sale right now for $149, but once the NSale ends the price will go back up to $228. The Charming Charlie bag is also a fall staple but at a much lower price. When I went to the store the other day and saw this bag, I knew it was made to be a designer dupe. 😉

3 and 4 // I’ve seen these Dior sunglasses everywhere lately, but if you’re like me, you’re terrible at keeping sunnies in good condition. I always scratch mine on accident! That’s why I opt for cheap sunglasses instead because then I don’t have to worry too much about losing or breaking them. These sunglasses from Francesca’s are very similar to the Dior ones and a fraction of the cost. (The Dior pair is $560 while the Francesca’s pair is only $14!!)

5 and 6 // I think Kendra Scott’s jewelry is so pretty, especially the long pendant necklaces and statement earrings, but I don’t think I would ever buy something of hers for myself. This necklace is $80 and comes in a variety of colors, but I’m really liking the dark green for fall. I found a very similar necklace on Francesca’s website for only $28. They have a lot of great fashion jewelry similar to Kendra Scott pieces but with much smaller price tags.

What do you think? Would you pay for the designer items or opt for cheaper versions instead? I hope you enjoyed today’s post and found it helpful!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
